Khum Bahadur Khadka is a elected member in Nepali Congress Central Working Committee. He is a former Minister of the Interior of Nepal and an one of the most influential leaders of Nepali Congress Party.Khadka was sentenced to prison for the charges of corruption and misappropriating nation's fund.Khum Bahadur Khadka was released from Jail two year ago. As the supreme court tagged him guilty providing the verdict to sentence him to the jail he claimed that he is still the central member of the party and that he would abide by the responsibility bestowed upon him by the party for the Constituent Assembly election. On the occasion, Khadka warned of dire consequences of holding elections by ignoring poll-opposing 33 political parties and added that the major parties should hold responsibility of the result.
